The multi-agent orchestrator for VS Code.

Run native agent CLIs, edit code, and review changes in the same IDE window. Use your own accounts and coding plans, and let agents collaborate across windows and machines.

Core feature 1 of 3

Agent Panel

Your agents and your IDE, in the same window.

Manage native agent CLIs from one panel, with their terminals in editor tabs beside your files.

Human part and Agent part inside VS Code. The human side includes Code editor, Files, Git, SSH, Extensions, and more tools. Facade Code provides the agent side with six native CLIs: Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, Muse Code, OpenCode, and pi.

Work where the changes happen.

Move between an agent's terminal, your files, diffs, and Git. Inspect its work, make changes, and continue the conversation in the same window.

Keep the native experience.

Use the original CLIs with their own commands, tools, accounts, and coding plans.

Continue your existing work.

Resume your Claude Code or Codex extension sessions, or launch more agents in parallel.

Core feature 2 of 3

Agent Use

Let agents operate other agents, just like you.

Through MCP and a terminal protocol, agents can start, stop, find, and message other agents across native CLI harnesses. Each keeps its own tools and context management. They can also read each other's terminal screens, type text, and press keys.

Four agents work as a team: Claude Code leads, Muse Code builds, Codex reviews, and OpenCode tests. Arrows show task delegation, progress reports, direct messages, test results, and review feedback. Roles shown are examples.

Delegate features in parallel.

Let a lead agent assign independent features to agents in separate worktrees, coordinate their progress, and bring their changes together.

Build a review loop.

Have one agent implement and another review. Let them exchange feedback, fix issues, and review the changes again.

Match the model to the task.

Choose models and effort for planning, implementation, design, or review. Use lower-cost models for well-defined tasks where they fit.

Core feature 3 of 3

Agent Mesh

Connect agents across windows, machines, and locations.

Facade Code connects agents across your local editor windows. Open a VS Code Remote SSH window to extend that collaboration to another machine.

Agents communicate across VS Code windows on macOS, Windows and WSL, Linux, and a cloud VM connected over SSH. Dashed boxes mark hosts. In this example, the Claude app connects through Remote Control to a Claude Code lead session that keeps running on the Mac. That session uses Agent Use to coordinate the other agents and report progress.

Coordinate across projects.

Agents in separate windows can exchange messages and coordinate related work while staying in their own project directories.

Extend your team over SSH.

A lead on your Mac can delegate work to agents on your Windows PC, Linux machine, or cloud VM.

Coordinate from your phone.

Enable Claude Code Remote Control for a lead session, then connect with the Claude app on iOS or Android. The CLI keeps running on your computer, with messages and progress synced across both. Ask for updates, make decisions, and let that session coordinate the other agents through Agent Use.

Requires a supported Claude Code version, an eligible plan, and full-scope sign-in. Setup requirements
